This past week there was an informational and planning meeting to discuss increases to state employees’ heath insurance costs, which have been proposed by Governor Healey. Unions from across Massachusetts who represent state workers, including SHARE, gathered with the Massachusetts Teachers’ Association, who is leading the opposition. The purpose of the meeting was to not only bring awareness to workers who will be affected, but also to discuss collective action.

Review of upcoming events
Brainstorming how we can stop the proposed increases to our GIC deductibles, copays and other rising costs.
